The Mississippi Marketplace is a family owned & operated business that is located right in the heart of Historic Downtown Hannibal. Offering a wide selection of food, kitchen gadgets & home décor you’ll find something for yourself & a gift for someone else. The Mississippi Marketplace is located in a historic building that was built in 1879. It has most of its original charm with wood floors and brick walls. It is more than a place to shop it an experience. We have a working kitchen where you can view us packaging food for our shelves or making peanut butter.
Shop here for: candy, fudge, old fashioned soda, baking items, whole grains, pastas, spices, jams, jellies, local honey, Missouri-made items, soup mixes, dip mixes, handmade soap, candles, kitchen gadgets, floral arrangements, home decor and more. The Mississippi Marketplace carries a large variety of flour, organic grains, baking supplies and the kitchen tools. We also have an Air BnB on our top floor with a view of the Mississippi River for Hannibal guests. Mississippi Marketplace is more than a general store. Come visit us in Historic Hannibal, we’re open all year seven days a week.
