James River Outfitters is family owned and operated in the heart of Ozark Mountain country.If you want to see the Ozarks up close and personal, come take a float trip. You can bring a picnic lunch and stop on a gravel bar on the way down the river. Floating is fun for the family.You might want to float and fish or just relax and enjoy the scenery. 

We offer a 22-mile float trip, (overnight trip) an 11-mile trip and a five-mile trip. Dogs are allowed in the canoes and on the buses if they are friendly toward people and other dogs.
