Basic, walk-in campsites and two special-use camping areas are available. Campsites are first-come, first-served. Water is available April through October. Taum Sauk Mountain, Missouri’s highest point, is featured in the park along with Mina Sauk Falls, the state’s highest waterfall (wet weather only). An overlook, trails and picnicking are offered in this rugged, scenic park. The park is located off Route 21, 8 miles southwest of Ironton and is managed by Johnson’s Shut-Ins State Park.
