Our Story: In December of 1985, out of curiosity, we came to Ste. Genevieve to look at a wreck of a building, only to discover the beginning of the rest of our lives. Over the next few months, we learned a great deal about the history of the building and the “do-ability” of the restoration. Because of the long history of providing lodging since 1805, our desire to return it to a Bed and Breakfast Inn seemed proper and would provide a much-needed asset to the community.
Rooms and Amenities: We have nine (9) different themed guest rooms each with private baths — five on the 2nd floor and four on the 3rd floor. We have installed modern heating and air conditioning, with separate controls in each room. We have decorated this 235-year-old house with period antiques befitting the theme of each room. As if that wasn’t enough, we have placed rocking chairs on the front porch to welcome you in and a brick walkway to lead you into the peacefulness and serenity of the private garden that’s set aside for only our guests to enjoy.
