Main campgrounds:
This park features two regular campgrounds and one equestrian campground. All three campgrounds have basic and electric sites and water. The equestrian campground does not have a showerhouse or dump station, but those services are provided in the other two campgrounds. Reservations: 877-422-6766 and online. A $2 per night camping discount is available year-round for senior citizens (65 years and older), people with disabilities, current and former military personnel, and family members of active-duty military personnel. Proper identification is required to receive these discounts. Visit our camping rates page for more information.

Special-use camping area:
A special-use camping area, located near Campground 1, is designated for group camping. The area is available for $2 per person, per night and can be reserved by calling the park at 573-856-4411. Nonprofit organizations and youth groups are given priority.
Additional park features:
Named for a former Missouri governor, Sam A. Baker State Park dates to the 1920s. This rustic park encompasses 5,323 acres of the St. Francois Mountains. It offers trails, shelters, a nature center, and a store and grill. The scenic St. Francis River flows past the park, making this an ideal place for float trips.
