Campground information:

This campground consists of basic and electric campsites. The sites are available year-round, and water is available from mid-April through October. Showers are available at the historic site’s picnic shelter, approximately 1 mile from the campground.

Campsites available on a walk-up registration basis and are not reservable.

A $2 per night camping discount is available year-round for senior citizens (65 years and older), people with disabilities, current and former military personnel, and family members of active-duty military personnel. Proper identification is required to receive these discounts. Visit our camping rates page for more information.

Missouri State Parks gift cards are accepted.

About the historic site:

Union troops defeated the pro-South Missouri State Guard here in 1861. Visitors can tour the site and enjoy picnicking, hiking, boating and fishing.
