Join us at Warm Springs Ranch for a one-of-a-kind weekend celebrating the skill, craftsmanship, and tradition!
- Watch some of the country’s most accomplished farriers go head-to-head! The 2026 American Farriers Team will take on an American Farriers Alumni Team as they forge handmade horseshoes to exact specifications to fit the foot. Both teams are made up of certified journeyman farriers who compete at the highest levels nationally and internationally.
- Get a close up look at how the legends are shod as a narrator guides you through the competition, explaining the techniques, challenges, and craftsmanship that go into creating shoes for horses.
- Explore the Warm Springs Ranch stables and meet our Budweiser Clydesdale ambassadors, who will answer your questions about the ranch, our breeding program, and the Budweiser Clydesdales.
- Enjoy catered lunch at the Ranch following the competition.
- See the Budweiser Clydesdales in action during a special hitch demonstration and featuring the East Coast Hitch.
From the precision of the forge to the power of the Hitch, spend the day experiencing the craftsmanship and tradition that help keep the Budweiser Clydesdales on the road.

9 a.m. – Gates Open to the Public
10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. – Competition
12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. – Lunch is available
1 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. – Hitch Braiding Demonstration
1:30 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. – Hitching Process Demonstration
2:15 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. – Hitch
3:15 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. – Unhitching Process
4 p.m. – Event End
