The Riverfront Fall Festival Committee is excited to announce the dates of the Inaugural Riverfront Fall Festival in Downtown Cape Girardeau. The Festival will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2022, from 11:00am to 7:00 pm. The Riverfront Fall Festival will take place on Water Street and Riverfront Park along the floodwall. The food court and Main Stage area will offer outdoor seating and additional food and local beverages to compliment the restaurants in Downtown Cape. Children’s activities include a kids costume contest, face painting, balloon animals, a crafting station with several fall crafts, games, and more to come! The Riverfront Fall Festival music lineup has something for everyone! Steve Shafner & the Jumper Cables, Maggie Thorn, Jason Heeter Band, Logan Chapman, and the Ivas John Band will be performing.
The festival will culminate with a special theatrical storytelling performance headlined by Christy Mershon and Dr. Joel Rhodes. The Mighty Mississippi River will serve as the backdrop of their tales.
