Mark Twain’s birthday is a fun event to celebrate, and the Mark Twain Boyhood Home invites everyone to join some unique festivities to mark the famous author’s 190th birthday on Saturday, November 29.

The fun begins with Twain’s Old Fashioned Birthday Celebration features games, crafts, and cupcakes. The celebration is free for children 2-10 years old who are accompanied by an adult. The event will be on the main floor of the Museum Gallery at 120 N. Main Street.

Pre-registration is suggested due to limited space, and the museum can be contacted at (573) 221-9010 to reserve a spot at this special event.

The annual Lighting of the Christmas Tree and Mark Twain Boyhood Home Gardens will commence at dusk, with a special presentation featuring music, caroling, and more.
