Jefferson City’s 2026 Juneteenth Heritage Celebration
Join us June 13th for an unforgettable day of culture, unity and celebration at Jefferson City’s Juneteenth Heritage Festival 2026 — honoring freedom, heritage and community with a full day of family-friendly fun!
This year’s festival will feature:
- Live music from dynamic local/regional artists – featuring R&B Smooth Jazz Saxophonists Tim Cunningham
- Inspirational dance performances that will lift your spirit
- Car Show – Showcasing classic, custom, and head-turning rides from local car enthusiasts.
- A colorful community parade you won’t want to miss
- Delicious food trucks serving mouthwatering bites
- A vibrant vendor market showcasing local-owned businesses, artisans, and local entrepreneurs (all individuals are welcome to be vendors)
- Kid scooter raffles and giveaways for kids
- Tons of free activities for children, including bounce houses, games and more!
- Historical Jefferson City Tour – Take a break from the heat and learn about the vibrant historical culture of African Americans in Jefferson City. Tours run every half hour during the festival.
Whether you’re coming for the entertainment, the food, the family fun or the rich cultural experience, this year’s Juneteenth festival promises to be our biggest and most joyful celebration yet.
