Attend Emmett Kelly Day slated for April 25, 2026, in Houston, MO. The event celebrates the life of Emmett Kelly Sr., the world-famous clown who was raised on a farm east of Houston and went on to star in television and movies. 

A new Missouri law makes it “Emmett Kelly Day” in Missouri beginning in 2026.

Numerous activities are planned — ranging from entertainment to a parade — and lots of fun featuring clowns.
