Dolly & Porter Days – A Hometown Jubilee

See Photo Location

Celebrate West Plains’ place in country music history during Dolly & Porter Days: A Hometown Jubilee in the West Plains Courthouse Square Historic District.

This new two-day celebration honors the musical legacy of West Plains native Porter Wagoner, his longtime friend and singing partner Dolly Parton, who visited West Plains with Porter during their years performing together, and fellow West Plains entertainer Speck Rhodes, a longtime member of Porter’s popular television show and road ensemble.

Enjoy live music, local vendors, food trucks, costume contests, the “Rags to Art” fiber arts exhibition, a Kids’ Makers Market, bake-off competitions and other activities throughout the weekend.

Come explore downtown West Plains, enjoy plenty of Ozarks hospitality, and celebrate the music, memories and hometown connections that helped shape country music history. Family friendly and free admission!
