America 250 Parade & Block Party

A celebration of America 250 wouldn’t be complete without a community gathering on July 4! Enjoy a parade, a variety of kids activities, treats, reading of the Declaration of Independence, unveiling of the next Great American statue and more in downtown Liberty.

Event Schedule

  • 8 a.m. – Historic Downtown Liberty Farmers Market open
  • 10 a.m. – Block Party Starts
  • 10 a.m. – Parade Starts (the parade will go down Kansas Street from Heritage Middle School)
  • 12 p.m. – Reading of the Declaration of Independence
  • 12:15 p.m. – Unveiling of the new Great American statue
  • 1 p.m. – Event ends and market closes
Families won’t want to miss joining the “Revere Riders” – decorate your bike and ride ahead of the parade.
