National Mural Day, celebrated by the National Days Calendar, takes place on the last Saturday in June. The event, founded by the Cuba Viva Cuba Beautification Group, celebrates murals and the artists who create them. The event highlights the 15 outdoor murals along Route 66 and invites the public to participate in a mural painting project. Local civic groups will have food, music and other activities to round out the event.
