Current River State Park offers day-use recreational activities. On weekends during the summer months, visitors can hike, picnic, and go fishing on two lakes. Guests can also tour the historic property, which was once a corporate retreat for the Alton Box Board Co. of Alton, Illinois. The park is located along the Current River, but there are no boat ramps on the river.
