Lake Wappapello State Park

This park borders Lake Wappapello, the largest lake in southeast Missouri. The park contains three boat ramps, a swimming beach and a courtesy dock.

The park’s scenic coves are ideal for fishing and picnicking, and its trails allow visitors to explore the area on foot, mountain bike or horseback. Overnight accommodations include campgrounds, cabins and camper cabins. Souvenirs and supplies are available for purchase at the park store.

Lake Wappapello State Park is 16 miles north of Poplar Bluff in Wayne County.
