Explore the Museum of Art and Archaeology located in the lower east wing of Ellis Library (across from Memorial Union) in the heart of the University of Missouri’s campus.
With a permanent collection boasting 16,000 objects spanning six continents and 6,000 years, ancient works to contemporary art, you’ll enjoy wide-ranging exhibitions, permanent and changing.
The museum is a gathering place for the community and also serves as an academic center for scholarly teaching and research, bringing people and art together in an atmosphere of discovery and understanding. Exhibitions, special events, and interpretive programs provide a wide range of cultural and educational opportunities for all ages.
Admission is always free. The museum is ADA accessible with two exterior entrances – off Hitt Street (accessible) and on Lowry Mall.
