"Voices from the Past": Rich Man, Poor Man, Beggar Man, Thief, Doctor, Lawyer, Merchant, Chief - Interpretative Tours of Mount Mora Cemetery by the Mount Mora Preservation and Restoration Association
Honored as one of St. Joseph's best historic annual events, join us to relive St. Joseph's past with living history characters.
All tours will begin at the Wyeth-Tootle Mansion, 1100 Charles St., with refreshments and a chance to briefly tour the Mansion before boarding the bus for Mount Mora Cemetery. At the Wyeth-Tootle, you will meet the first living history character of the Voices of the Past tour. Each year different stories are told by the characters.
Mount Mora was established in 1851 and is one of the oldest cemeteries in our city.
Tours will be conducted on Thursday, 10/19/2017 at 6 p.m. and 7 p.m.; and Friday, 10/20/2017 at 6 p.m., 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. beginning at Wyeth-Tootle Mansion, 11th and Charles streets, with a bus trip to and from Mount Mora.
