Pulaski County is full of Route 66 attractions, golf escapes, kayaking and floating adventures to enjoy on your family vacation, year-round. Relax as you go kayaking down a river and get in a quick round on one of the gorgeous public golf courses. Many great adventures await in Route 66 territory.

Day One

A. Richland Golf and Country Club

B. Frog Rock

A quick stop along the way is a must-see. There are plenty of Route 66 attractions, but this one sticks out – literally. W.H. Croaker is a huge rock, painted like a frog. It sits beside Historic Route 66, overlooking the town of Waynesville. This is just one cool Route 66 attraction you will see as you “get your kicks on Route 66.”

Day Two

A. Roubidoux Spring Cave – Scuba Diving

A world-renowned, scuba diving cave adventure in Laughlin Park. The average daily flow of Roubidoux Spring is 37 million gallons; 16th largest in Missouri. Temperature ranges from the upper 40s in winter to the low 60s in summer and fall. Roubidoux Spring is open to all certified cave divers.

B. Wilderness Ridge Resort

This is a beautiful campground on a bluff overlooking the Big Piney River. Each campsite includes a fire ring and picnic table; some have electric and water hook-ups. The resort offers rafting, kayaking and canoeing on the Big Piney River.
