This is the world's first Vacuum Cleaner Museum. It is located on Route 66, the uniquely American "Mother Road." This facility is devoted to a great American invention – the vacuum cleaner.
See more than 800 vacuums from the last 100 years. You'll travel through time decade by decade and leave with a new appreciation of this household appliance. While you're there, you can check out the latest modern vacuum cleaners.
Upstairs from the Vacuum Cleaner Museum, they're busy making Simplicity, Riccar and Maytag vacuums in one of the only factories still assembling vacuums in the USA.
Free admission; open year-round; closed on major holidays.
