St. Mary's Episcopal Church
Visit Kansas City's first Episcopal Church for Sunday worship or a guided tour. St. Mary's entered the National Register of Historic Places in 1978. Built in 1888, red brick, Victorian Gothic style with painted art-glass windows and altar designed by Tiffany & Co. Hear the story of St. Mary's legendary "ghost." Tours available Mon.,Thur., and Fri. 10am - 2pm. Please call at least one day in advance. Suggested donation: $10 adults, $2 chidren. Hear weekly carillon recital Thursdays at noon (except during Lent) outdoors in downtown KC. Sunday Services: Holy Eucharist 8 & 10am.
