Springfield Little Theatre at the historic Landers Theatre is Missouri’s oldest and largest civic theatre. The Landers opened in 1909 while Springfield Little Theatre was established in 1934. The two places became one in 1970 when Springfield Little Theatre purchase The Landers Theatre. Now, SLT presents roughly eight Main Stage shows each season at The Landers.

In addition to The Landers Theatre, Springfield Little Theatre’s Education Facility houses 80+ classes in the performing arts each week during the academic year and Summer Youth Programs all summer. There are two performance spaces at the Education Facility: one 200+ seat auditorium and one 60-seat black box theatre.

Proud to be Springfield’s theatre since 1934.
