Sam’s Cellar Bar and Oven

See Photo Location

Opened in the early 1940’s to serve the forces stationed at Neosho’s Camp Crowder, this rejuvenated and updated Cellar features a full-line bar and a wide selection of wraps, wings, salads and wood-fired pizzas.

Founder Sam Wolfinbarger was an entrepreneur engaged in many business opportunities throughout the community. Sam’s Cellar became an iconic dive during the years following the closure of Camp Crowder. Eventually, the original bar was closed however the iconic name of Sam’s Cellar remained.

The revitalization and re-opening of this location introduced a more family friendly atmosphere with items for all, adult and child. Stop by and enjoy the ambiance, the cozy comfort, and reminisce in past days of the Historic Downtown District through the photos on display. Great food, great drinks, great times await you at Sam’s Cellar!
