The Rock Island Spur of Katy Trail State Park is a hiking, biking and equestrian path. Located near the Kansas City area and encompassing parts of the old Rock Island line, the trail curves through gently sloping farmland and woodlands, providing an abundance of recreation and wildlife viewing opportunities.
Riders can now travel between Windsor and Pleasant Hill, with trailheads at Leeton, Chilhowee and Medford along the way. Explore Missouri’s rural history as you travel through the small towns that once thrived along the railroad corridor.
