River Reader Bookstore is a general interest bookstore selling new books of all genres, toys, games and reader-related items. 

Located in an 1886 Queen Anne style building in historic downtown Lexington, Missouri, River Reader serves the community with author events, story times and other activities. We have been in business since 2004 and take pride in our extensive inventory of children’s titles.

We also have a full-service espresso bar and cafe seating in the back area of the shop.

Customers travel from all over and consider River Reader a destination during their visit to Lexington.
