Ozark Greenways has been developing a public trail network throughout the Springfield community since 1991, for bicycling, walking, running, skating, exploring, and active transportation. There are a variety of options within the 70+ mile trail network, ranging from two miles to the 35-mile Frisco Highline Trail. Almost all are ADA accessible too.

Trailheads are located at various points throughout the city. Please consult the maps at www.ozarkgreenways.org for details.

Four of Springfield’s greenway trails are designated as National Recreation Trails by the National Park Service and American Trails! They are the Frisco Highline Trail, Galloway Creek Greenway, South Creek Greenway, and Wilson’s Creek Greenway.

Please note: There are a variety of trails and trailhead locations throughout the Springfield community.
