National Airline History Museum
Walk through the "Golden Age of Aviation." The museum collection of artifacts and displays begins with the Wright brother's first flight and travels through the jet age, bringing history to life. Our hometown airline, TWA, is represented by an extensive collection of items. The collection includes, among many other unique items and historic aircraft: the first-ever to be restored Lockheed "Super G" Constellation; a Martin 404; a rare 8/24 configuration Douglas DC; an American Eaglet; a Lockheed L-1011 TriStar; and a flight simulator. Located at Hanger 9 of the Charles B. Wheeler Downtown Airport, just north across the Broadway Bridge from downtown Kansas City. Visit our website for details, special events, admission prices and driving directions. Closed major holidays and during inclement weather.
