White tail deer and turkey hunting on more than 600 acres, heavy woods combined with open, rolling pastures, and surrounded by various fields of corn. We offer 26 pre-positioned buddy-stands, placed at known deer sites.

Hunting is limited to our overnight guests. A minimum hunting package consists of a land orientation, two nights lodging (or use of an RV site) and two hunting days. We limit the number of hunters for safety.

A land orientation is required prior to any hunting activity.

Our 500-acre resort features some of Northern Missouri’s finest rolling hills and heavy wooded areas. Our name says it all! We are very secluded! Our resort is accessed from a dead-end “double-lettered highway or a graveled road. We followed old logging roads through our woods and widened them to make trails varied and enjoyable. Our lodges and full-hook up RV sites are co-located and limited camping is permitted within the RV sites/lodge area so groups traveling together who need varied overnight accommodations may still be co-located! For our campers, a common-use bath house offers a washer/dryer, kitchen sink, gas grill (BBQ) and a microwave. For our horse lovers, a “wash rack” with unlimited hot water will be available on the west side of the bathhouse for our favorite 4-leggers! The majority of the RV sites have wither 30 or 50 amp plugs as well as 110 outlets. A couple RV sites only offer 30 amp and 110 service. All have water service and an additional outlet for a personal hose. Primitive camping is allowed throughout the area. Free firewood is provided at all sites. We have a limited amount of fire rings provided at no extra charge. Middle of Nowhere Ranch is also the home of the Green Hills Equestrian. Events and training occur throughout the year. A limited amount of covered stalls are available for a daily fee. Our large lighted indoor arena is adjacent to an outdoor dressage arena and 16 miles of trails. Overnight guests may also enjoy our numerous stocked ponds for fishing and depending upon the time of the year, other activities such as mushroom hunting, nut gathering, and wild berry picking. Hunting for other species is also offered during certain times of the year. Rates vary depending upon the season selected.

Our lodges are fully equipped to include linens, pots and pans, washer/dryer, satellite TV and have central heat and AC. Our smallest lodge is two bedrooms with two twin beds each, a large living room with two sofa sleepers and an adjacent kitchen with full-size appliances. Other lodges are up to 1,800 square feet and accommodate up to 14 people in beds or sofa sleepers. Our facility is located in north-central Missouri, off Routes 139 & E, approximately 50 miles west of Kirksville. Discounts may not be combined nor applied if using a coupon.
