This home is filled with Ozark History. The home was built in 1895 and has all the original woodwork. The first two floors are furnished as they would have been when the house was built.

The third floor houses special collections. Several original outbuildings are on the grounds, including a smokehouse/cellar and an open carriage shed. On the back porch, there is an exact reproduction, although smaller, of the Liberty Bell. It is one of a limited number cast in honor of our nation’s Bicentennial celebration in 1976.
