Step back in time to the age of dinosaurs, explore life on the Trail of Tears, Missouri Dinosaur Discovery exhibit, fossils and more. View contemporary art and metal sculptures from the Runnels collection, North American mammals, Will Mayfield College memorabilia and genealogy research, Civil War ballistics, American Indian artifacts, a digitized presentation of historic local photographs, and much more inside this architectural treasure that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Discover & Play area and Gift Shop available.

Our museum makes its home in Mayfield Hall on the former Will Mayfield College campus, overlooking the foothills of the ancient Ozark Mountains. Beautiful architecture and educational history placed the former college campus on the National Register of Historic Places in 2013.

Museum Hours: Thursday, Friday and Saturday each week and the first Sunday of the month, noon-4:30 p.m.
