Augusta, a quaint village 35 miles west of St. Louis, is home to bed and breakfast inns, boutique shops, and a microbrewery. We would be remiss to not mention the many wineries in Augusta that make this an excellent destination for wine lovers. Guests can sip wines while enjoying a picnic lunch, live music and great views at the many wineries in Augusta. Notably, Augusta was the first federally designated viticulture (wine) area in the United States. We can raise our glasses and toast to that!
