August 5, kick-off the week with a Rodeo Pancake Breakfast. Visit the Sikeston Depot Museum and take the downtown Rodeo Walk to view photographs documenting 60 years of rodeo history.
August 7, join the Jaycees for their Behind-the-Chute Tours. See how professional stock handlers make all the action and excitement possible. The free tours start at 10 a.m. For lunch, join the Rodeo clowns and royalty at Sikeston Factory Outlet Stores (11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.). While you're there snap a picture, enjoy face-painting and balloon art.
August 8, follow the parade to downtown Sikeston. Attend the Sikeston Depot's Cowboy Up! Festival. Enjoy roping and branding exhibitions, live music, concessions and stagecoach rides. Check out the Cowboy Cook-off in nearby Malone Park, then head for the Miner Convention Center for the Bootheel Quilt and Craft Show.
