It’s all about the fiber...
Nestled in the hills of Missouri wine country, RWAR concentrates on breeding black huacaya alpacas and runs a fiber herd of both suri and huacaya alpacas. We strongly believe that a fiber infrastructure is necessary. Our goals are to improve the fiber of black animals, focusing on the needs of commercial textile processors. As that progresses, we will continue to find innovative uses for all fiber sheared from each of our animals.
We are a Certified Sort farm and belong to the Natural Fiber Producers Cooperative. Please see their website for addition details.
