The Laughing Boar Guest House

Built in 1872, this elegantly restored guest house is nestled in the heart of the Hermann Historic District and is ideal if you have a small group and want the privacy of renting the entire house.

The Laughing Boar Guest House has more than 1,900 square feet of fully furnished living space, plus a private deck in back garden to relax, four bedrooms and an extra daybed to accommodate up to 11 guests.

The Guest House is within three blocks of the Missouri Riverfront, and is within a 10-minute walk of a variety of attractions, including Hermannhof Winery, Amtrak Station, and Tin Mill Brewery. It also offers convenient access to shopping, museums, and restaurants.

The house was completed renovated in 2011. We have all new beds and linens, new couches, rugs, and chairs, and the kitchen is fully stocked with all the amenities you will need for your stay.

There is a large living room with a satellite flat-screen TV. Our dining room has a large harvest table. We also have a private backyard deck where you can barbecue and enjoy the garden full of birdhouses and the trickling waterfall of the fish pond.

Enjoy a wonderful day trip where you can take advantage of the fleet of Hermann trolleys to shuttle you around town or to all the wineries. Convenient doorstep pick-up and drop-off is available. The Laughing Boar is available for girls weekends, bachelorette parties, family reunions and out-of-town wedding guests wishing to stay together in a private setting.
