Gray Ghosts Trail Inn

Gray Ghosts Trail Inn sits on the Gray Ghosts Trail, where 'bloody Bill Anderson' stormed through, picking up guerrillas on his way to destroy the first county seat of Missouri: Danville. We are proud of our historical connection to the Civil War Trail. The house was built in 1905 and reopened in July, 2013.

We are not a typical B&B. We are an Inn. When you rent at the Inn, you get the privacy of the whole house. Kitchen is stocked with plenty of dishes, cookware, utensils, etc., you just provide your own food/beverages. With one of our packages, we can provide continental breakfast or a coupon for a meal at Marlene's (just 2 blocks away).

Just a short drive from Hermann, wine country and beautiful hillsides; or Fulton where Winston Churchill gave his famous speech. We can help arrange tours to whatever your likes are. The Inn is right down the road from Whetstone Conservation Area where they can accommodate the hunter or fisherman (restrictions apply).

One block away is the famous Crane's Country Store, featuring Carhartt, Filson and great candy and sandwiches. We'll design a package just for you. Not an early riser? No problem! Sleep in and have a continental breakfast or hot breakfast whenever you're ready with our great priced packages. Or walk just a couple of blocks and have a great, hot breakfast at Marlene's Cafe.

Whether you are a business or a leisure traveler, we at Gray Ghosts Trail Inn offer the perfect travel options.
