The Gift shop is open, Tue.-Fri., 10 a.m.-4 p.m., and weekends noon-4 p.m.
The permanent exhibits focus on American Indian cultures from throughout North America. Rotating exhibits cover all fields of anthropology and archaeology.
The Museum's archaeological collection is the largest holding of prehistoric Missouri artifacts in the world. It includes millions of items ranging from 9,000 B.C. to modern times. The Museum holds thousands of objects from many cultures around the world. The Grayson Archery Collection is the world's most comprehensive archery collection.
The gift shop has fair-trade items for sale from the U.S., Africa, China, South America and Poland.
