Lincoln University is a historically Black university founded in 1866 by African-American Civil War veterans. The school is a cornerstone of Jefferson City history and this year it celebrates its 150th anniversary. Come and learn about the university’s legacy and impact from Lincoln University professor Debra Greene, Ph.D.

The program continues the museum's ongoing series, "Museum After Hours," held the first Wednesday of each month. In addition to the program, the museum's galleries will be open until 9 p.m. The program will be held in the Missouri State Museum's History Hall, located in the east wing of the Missouri State Capitol.
