The 2,300 acre site, which includes forests and scattered areas of open grassland, is a tranquil place for hiking, picnicing, hunting, fishing and camping.

Farther north, near Missouri’s border with Iowa, is Rebel’s Cove Conservation Area, about 15 minutes north of Livonia. The scenic backdrop of natural marshes, oxbow lakes, grassland, old fields and cropland provides diverse wildlife and an opportunity for hunters to challenge their marksmanship.
