The baby sitter is booked. The fridge is stocked with snacks. The kids are psyched. Mom and Dad are, too.

It’s a parents’ night out in the Show-Me State.

Entertainment hubs such as
Ballpark Village in downtown St. Louis, Park Central Square in Springfield and Columbia’s District are ideal for a night out, as they offer dining, sightseeing and club-hopping.

Kansas City’s Power and Light District, along with the Country Club Plaza and Westport districts, are well-known for offering excellent nightlife and entertainment options, too.

Of course, good music should be part of the fun. Fortunately, Missouri knows how to put on an amazing show.

Whether it’s a live performance in Branson, a concert in Kansas City, a local group playing at your favorite winery or a blues club in St. Louis, it’s never difficult to find talented folks bringing down the house in Missouri.

Here are links to a handful of Missouri’s live-show venues; browse through them to help find the performer/performance to plan your night around:

Kauffman Center for Performing Arts

Fabulous Fox Theatre

Peabody Opera House

Sprint Center

The Blue Note

Leach Theatre

Scottrade Center

Show-Me Center

In addition to excellent food and fun gaming options,
Missouri’s casinos also host great musical acts worthy of your attention.

Those who enjoy an excellent bottle of wine find
Show-Me State wineries are a fine choice for an evening out, as many have restaurants (including those with extensive menus) and live music on weekends.

To find wineries and
other options for your next night out, keep exploring VisitMO. You might let the baby sitter know you’re going to be a bit late.
