This is the burial site of educator William Jewell and his nephew, Missouri Governor (1875-77) Charles Henry Hardin. 

Neatly cut, but unmarked headstones are believed to be the last resting places of slaves who belonged to these families. This facility is managed by Rock Bridge Memorial State Park.
