Hermann Farm Museum is located on 200 acres of rolling hills about 75 miles west of St. Louis, in the heart of beautiful Missouri wine country. Its purpose is to celebrate the importance of the German settlement to the development of agriculture in the Missouri River Valley region, and to showcase the home and business establishment of George Husmann, one of the most prominent vintners in the development of the wine industry in America.

Hermann Farm Museum brings together more than 150 years of farming experiences, exhibits of early trades and history. You will see what the early settlers found when they first came to mid-Missouri as you take a tractor-pulled wagon ride through the farm.

The tour includes a 1790s trading post, Schuetzen Halle, Visitor Center and Mercantile, 1850s log barn which houses an early trades museum, the Husmann House and outbuildings, mule barn, Master Distiller's Homestead and Distillery.

Hermann Farm Museum opens for the season on May 5, 2017 through November and the first two weekends in December; closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
