Gray Ghosts Trail Inn sits on the Gray Ghosts Trail, where 'bloody Bill Anderson' stormed through, picking up guerillas on his way to destroy the first county seat of Missouri: Danville. We are proud of our historical connection to the civil war trail. The house was built in 1905 and reopened in July, 2013.
We are not a typical B&B. When you rent rooms, you get the whole house. We'll stock the fully furnished kitchen, provide coupons for the local restaurant a couple of blocks away or come and fix your breakfast for you...your choice!
Just a short drive from Hermann, MO, wine country and beautiful hillsides, or Fulton, MO where Winston Churchill gave his famous speech. We can help to arrange tours whatever your likes are. Right down the road from Whetstone Conservation Area, we can accommodate the hunter or fisherman.
One block away is the famous Crane's Country Store, featuring Carhartt, Filson and great candy and sandwiches. We'll design a package just for you. Not an early riser? No problem! Sleep in, and have a continental breakfast or hot breakfast whenever you're ready. Or walk just a couple of blocks and have a great, hot breakfast at Marlene's cafe.
Whether you are a business or a leisure traveler, we at Gray Ghosts Trail Inn offer the perfect travel options.
