Join a park naturalist on a hike to discover Johnson’s Shut-Ins State Park’s wonderful world of spring wildflowers. This informational trek will provide details on the types of flowers, their medicinal uses and some wild edibles that can be found right in your own backyard!
We will be hiking the 1.5-mile Horseshoe Glade Trail. We ask that you wear sturdy shoes and bring plenty of water for this adventure. In the event of inclement weather, the hike will be canceled.
If you have any questions, please contact the park naturalist at 573-546-2450, ext. 1003, or Dairan.elam-pyles@dnr.mo.gov.
