Twin Pines Conservation Education Programs for March 2020 include:
Pine Needlers on March 18, 2020 from 10:30 a.m. to Noon and again at 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Learn more about Missouri mammals with this month's Pine Needlers quilt block featuring the bobcat. Sharing its short black-tipped tail and ear tufts with the northern lynx, this solitary nocturnal hunter feeds on small mammals and birds and fills an important role in the health of the ecosystem. Pine Needlers is designed for ages 16 and up. Under 18 must have a parent or guardian present. Class limit of 15.
Wildthings on March 28, 2020 from 9 a.m. to Noon
Enjoy the accomplishment of making things for your home and decorating with all things rustic? Join Twin Pines volunteer Linda Strauch and make a stool using common Ozark caning and weaving techniques. With the materials provided, you will not only have a unique piece but a practical one. This program is designed for ages 16 and up. Under 18 must have a parent or guardian present. Class size limit of 10.
