Nature Art: Pine Needlers (VIRTUAL)

Registration period: January 19 – February 23

Date: Thursday, February 23, 2023 4 p.m.-5 p.m.

Location: Online only

Learn embroidery techniques while also exploring Missouri’s “Things with Wings” by stitching quilt blocks based on that theme.

Nature Art: Pine Needlers

Registration period: January 27 – February 23

Date: Thursday, February 23, 2023 6 p.m.-7 p.m.

Location: Twin Pines Conservation Education Center

This class is a 12-month program that will meet once a month all year long. You will learn simple, but beautiful embroidery techniques as we explore some of the most stunning and unique Winged Things found in the beautiful landscapes of Missouri.

By signing up, you are committing to attend all twelve of the monthly sessions so that you will be able to complete all 15 blocks for an entire quilt.

Trees: Ozark Stools

Registration period: January 23 – February 25

Date: Saturday, February 25, 2023 9 a.m.-12 p.m.

Location: Twin Pines Conservation Education Center

Enjoy the accomplishment of making things for your home and decorating with all things rustic?

Join us to make a stool using common Ozark caning and weaving techniques. With the materials provided you will not only have a unique piece but a practical one. This program is designed for ages 16 and up.
