On the third Friday of each month, staff from the Missouri State Museum will take visitors on a themed tour of the Missouri State Capitol at 3 p.m. These tours are different from the standard tours given daily at the museum. Themed tours explore a wide array of topics from in-depth looks at specific artworks to tours exploring the capitol as a product of the resources of Missouri.
October's theme is "World War I and the Missouri State Capitol." Visitors will get to explore Missouri's connection with World War I through the Capitol's exhibits, plaques, paintings and sculpture.
