Pro Musica presents the Tesla (string) Quartet with special guest Alexander Fiterstein (clarinet) on Thursday, November 7, 2019, at Ozark Christian College Chapel, 1111 N Main St, Joplin.
Praised for their "superb capacity to find the inner heart of everything they play, regardless of era, style or technical demand," the Tesla Quartet brings refinement and prowess to both new and established repertoire. Community involvement and outreach are integral parts of the Quartet's mission, and the group has brought inspiring music to children's hospitals, soup kitchens, libraries, retirement communities and schools.
Clarinetist Alexander Fiterstein is considered one of today's most exceptional artists. Fiterstein has performed in recital, with distinguished orchestras, and with chamber music ensembles throughout the world. A dedicated performer of chamber music, Fiterstein frequently collaborates with distinguished artists and ensembles and regularly performs with the prestigious Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center.
The concert starts at 7 p.m. and is open to the public at no charge with donations appreciated.
