"Plein Air at the Landing" at Missouri State Museum
Aug
10

Join the Missouri State Museum and the Jefferson Landing State Historic Site for "plein air" painting. Come together with painters from around the state as they paint "in the open air." Painters are welcome to come and paint on the lawn of the Lohman Building or Union Hotel and capture the beauty of the Jefferson Landing.

After the event, we will invite artists to submit their paintings to be hung in the Rozier Gallery at the Union Hotel for the exhibit "Plein Air Missouri." The exhibit will open Aug. 13 and run through Dec. 1. Everyone is welcome to participate in "Plein Air at the Landing," but participants will be required to provide their own painting supplies, canvas, chairs and easels.
