COVID-19 Travel Information

Come enjoy activities for the entire family including mountain music, dancing, food and heritage skill exhibits. We feature artisans who continue Ozark traditional sustainable living skills. Learn about these historic crafts and the products still being produced today.  Exhibitors will show heirloom plants, food preservation, hand made products from wood, stone, steel, leather, fabric, and other trades.

There will be live mountain music, food, prizes, reenactors, games, baking contests, axe throwing, log sawing, native archery, flint knapping, vintage harvest equipment and more!

The event is the first week in October each year.

We are excited to announce our new location at the Historic Missouri Fox Trotter Showgrounds along Highway 5, north of Ava. Come celebrate with us.
