Pioneer Heritage Festival of the Ozarks
Oct

Oct

Enjoy activities for the entire family including music, food and heritage skill exhibits that feature artisans who continue Ozark traditional sustainable living techniques. Learn about the crafts and goods still being made by locals that use heirloom plants, wood, stone, steel, leather, fabric, etc. There will be live mountain music, prizes, reenactors, games, baking contests, axe throwing, log sawing, native archery, flint knapping and more! The event is the first week in October each year. We are excited to announce our new location at the Missouri Fox Trotter Showgrounds along Hwy 5, north of Ava.
