"Patriot Nations" is a traveling exhibit from the Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian. The exhibit explores the ways in which Native Americans have served America's Armed Forces in every major military encounter from the Revolutionary War to today's conflicts in the Middle East. Through a series of engaging and historical photographs and narratives, visitors will learn how Native American servicemen and women have served to protect and defend the United States.

The exhibit will begin with an opening night open house from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 20.

"Patriot Nations: Native Americans in Our Nation's Armed Forces" was produced by the Smithsonian's National Museum of the American Indian. The exhibition was made possible by the generous support of the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians. For more information, visit mohumanities.org/patriot-nations
